Toby, Toby, Worry Free

Written by Lucinda Grapenthin, PhD, Illustrated by Kevin Gosselin

When Toby is faced with learning to ride his bike so he can join his friends in play, he begins to worry and worry and worry.

“What if I fall? ” “What if other kids laugh at me?” “What if I can’t ride my bike?!”

Toby can’t think about anything else until his Mommy reminds him of his can do thoughts.

As Mommy pauses to attune to his feelings and understand his behavior so she can engage calmly with him, Toby discovers a new way to think. Now, he can have fun!
